It's never too early! Do we want to choose a place and then to the church gym?

Could go to Pantry, but open for suggestions...

8:30, pantry. Stoney Church at 10. I have a yak 55 and a nutball cut; anyone want one of them? Took advantage of the rainy day to test out the new axle and needles and power supply provided 12 volts for cutter replacing lipo. Both seem good.

I don’t know if it was the “choppy” winds, Ron’s lingering bad karma or what, but there seemed an inordinate amount of crashing and losing of propellers taking place. I myself crashed (or was struck, mainly by Joe) no less than 6 times and I broke 3 propellers in the process.

Ken, who flew several rounds early in the evening, cutting several streamers, had to dash off early for more important endeavors (really, what’s more important on Tuesday evening than SEMFF combat?)

Don, who was ultimately crowned King of Combat, crashed and/or was brought down numerous times himself and lost and/or broke several propellers during the mayhem.

I think most of us achieved at least a couple of cuts each, I scored 6 cuts for the evening, but no matter how hard we all tried, not me, not Joe (who should be called “Killer” by the way) nor Mike nor Dave nor Greg could match the skill and tactical mastery Don showed last night by dominating the match with 13 kills to his credit….

Therefore it is with a heavy heart, but great pleasure, that I now pass my crown on to the new King of Combat – Don!

All Hail King Don!
Hey Don it was an honor to meet a man of your skill and prowess at building and flying! I am also proud to have YOUR original combat weapon in my shop! Battle scars, open wounds, and spaces where once lived foam! Hope you are well.

I just heard the the owner of the Pantry passed away a few day ago from a stroke. He was 56 years old. Is he the fellow that talked to us all the time about his love for golf?

Wow! I think it might have been, though it is a family business, but he could have been 56.
