Or if you get it inverted, just hand the transmitter to someone standing next to you, that should do it!

Took the floater out on the lake flying yesterday.
I suffered the same problem once before. So when I built this current model, I used 3 magnets on the battery hatch, as well as having velcro to contain the thing.
I performed a loop. At the bottom of he loop the battery came flying out!
Falling from about 75 feet destroyed the battery.
Luckily there was a little bit of right rudder when the power left the flight.
The plane luckily did a slow spiral down to a safe landing. Whew!

Yeah!!! I almost started, but got into fixing other stuff.

Speaking of other stuff, I finally flashed the 14 channel firmware upgrade to my $30 Flysky FSi6. Outstanding upgrade! I picked up a TGY cat01 altimeter sensor for $9 hooked it up and now have altimeter telemetry and vario. Got it all installed on the OSG-mpf and waiting for a decent day to try out. I was able to program the dual servo ailerons and three level elevator trim for soaring that I had with my pro. Incredible tech for peanuts!

A brave man, my pond had water over most of it during the weekend. Frozen again now no doubt.
