I am building the standard Yak, with 9mm EPP. Will mostly be flying outdoors on the calmer days. Power is a Turnigy 2204-14T motor (https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...outrunner.html). I have not flown foamies outside yet, only indoors and only have 350mAh 2S battery packs. Since I need to buy some larger capacity batteries I figured I would ask what the better choices are for a standard build Yak and the listed motor for flying outdoors.

So, what say you?

Thanks,
Mark
The 2730-1700kv that we carry would be a better choice. They are cheap and local. The website has not been reloaded since the Toledo show but we do have them in stock. The 2730-1700kv on 3 cell with an 8 inch prop is hard to beat for outdoors.

Have fun building and flying,
