New information about the "zagi kits."

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received a full refund today for the two "zagi kits" that I purchased from "Flyinout" (aka "Nick").

I am sure that everyone involved in this messy situation is happy to know that things are being resolved.

I hope that everyone else who is waiting for a refund will receive one soon.

Hi seyemoreb

Glad to hear you got your money back. I hope we all do.

I called Nick this afternoon. He said your refund was already sent, and that mine would be mailed tomorrow. I could hear a female (who I assume was his mom) in the background. She also happened to answer the telephone. Nick did not say I had to return the "kit" and I forgot to ask. I don't suppose they will include return postage in the refund .

Zagi

What is the matter with the kit that you are wanting a refund.

I'm interested in a Zagi, but apparently there is something, a lot for that matter, that I don't know about them.

Some guys in my club fly them. They look the same to me.

The refunds are not for a real "Zagi" but a very poor "Zagi" rip-off

Hi Flav

I called and talked to Nick (and his mother) last Thursday, a week ago today. He (they) assured me my refund was being mailed last Friday by Priority Mail and I should have it by Monday.

Well......nothing yet. I was all for cutting these kids some slack, but my patience is worn thin on this one. We've been deceived and lied to from the start, and I don't know what to believe now.

It seems these people don't have a clue to the trouble they are in if we decide to press charges. It's just a phone call away.......

I ain't got it!!!

Sorry :-(

I'm sorry you guys got scammed by these guys. However, THANK YOU for the valuable service you provided the rest of us by going VOCAL as soon as you knew. A LOT more people could have been "taken" if you had not voiced your displeasure as loud and as often as you did.

As a regular reader of the Classifieds (it is like window shopping for me - always nice to see who's selling what, and what's out there that I can't have ) I had noticed that over the past few months there seemed to be A LOT of Zagi Knock Offs coming out of Ohio. In fact, I posted something for sale and got an offer for one of these things claiming it's retail value was $65.00. Of course, the offer seemed to be extened to EVERYONE posting ANYTHING at about the same time, and they all were from the same person, somewhere in Ohio. No, I do not have an ax to grind with the people in Ohio, I'm just saying hindsight being 20/20, this probably isn't the first time these Fake Zagis have reared their ugly heads.

Something Else

I was told by someone in Ohio that these two perpetrators have planned to make hundreds of these fakes to sell at some big event in Ohio .......Weak Signals or something like that. Anyone know about this ? When is this coming up ?

I would think that in person, anyone able to see the kit would not be fooled. So I don't think there is much to be worried about.
