FS: Schübeler EDF Jet
I'm selling the Ferrari-red Vector Pro shown here: http://shredair.com/vector.html
This includes the finished plane with the following 22-cell system: Schübeler DS51-3ph fan; Plettenberg HP220/25 A4 S P4 motor; Schulze future 55bo controller; 22-cell (2x11) 2400 mAh NiCad flight pack; 2 Graupner/JR 368 digital servos; 4-cell 600 mAh(?) receiver pack; and a small ChPs switch. This plane has 14 flights on it with one bad landing when it flipped at the NEAT fair. I'm including an extra rotor assembly for the fan and a new winglet assembly kit; the original winglets broke during the flip and are repaired with CA. The plane is completely overhauled and ready to fly. Price: $750 firm, plus packing and shipping, if necessary... this is a great looking plane, saw it at mwe, but I'm confused as to its performance with the current setup. I heard talk of 150mph+, yet the demo looked more like 70mph... were you really wringing it out during the mwe jet demo?

The rotor had moved forward on the shaft and was grinding into the intake duct. This made a big racket, robbed power, and caused glitching. Hence the short uneventful flight. That's also why I include a new rotor assembly with it; the intake is fine.

That pretty red jet is one of the State of Oregon's great treasures and a wonder to behold. I understand we are currently in a budget crunch with the schools, law enforcement and the PERS system but PLEASE don't let this tremendous asset leave our great state! I have emailed and PM'd several Oregonians to warn them of the impending loss and implored them to open up their wallets to save this great bird. NO SELL NO SELL NO SELL. tIgGeR PS Besides it looks so nice with the Birkensocks, err stocks!

Great, now I have to hot rod my EDF to compete. I think I know who made this purchase. The good thing is that his field will not take that plane. However the sod farm I belong to will. Oh Happy Day!!!
