What expo and dual rate setups are you using with your superslo 28? (control surface deflection measurements) I have everything setup, I am waiting for my batteries and motor from hobbycity.

Thanks.....
I owned an Autobody / Custom Paint shop in a prior life. I use the 3M line of Automotive Vinal tape <not pin stripe> used for custom painting, two tone break line. It does not allow soak or wick that masking tape does. This 1.9# epp has a great surface as well.

I got to thinking <not tested yet> that if I spay a light dusting of clear over the foam first, then sharpie, then light dusting of clear again, it may reduce the amount of sharpie needed to cover since it wont wick into the foam.

I may have to do this on the new I3D I am building next.

Nope....it is an EPP kit from Tallflyer. He cut it and got it to me on Christmas eve.

3M vinyl...not waterslide. Doubles as the hinges too. I cheated as I own a sign and screen printing shop so I have a computer vinyl cutting system. The pic shows some glare on the graphics as the vinyl is gloss.

Using a little vinyl won't add that much weight...plus no hinge tape.

Thanks...David

Nice planes guys, I am in the process of building mine as well. My motor, batteries and ESC arrives from Hobby City today. I am planning on the maiden flight tomorrow. I have never flown 3D or indoors so hopefully all goes well! I hope this little plane can help me learn 3D so I can eventually pick up the DW Foames 48" Yak.
