Does the spinner come pre-cut??

Thanks Tim,

Yep, the spinner is pre-cut, but I think if you were to use gas props, you'd have to enlarge it a bit more.

Josh, That's the pics I was hoping for!

I'm Agonizing over how to place the electronics on my 87" SHP.
I've been working on cooling scoops on each side of the motor box to Avoid having to figure out my wire routing, (And where to place all the rest).

Your Slick looks, well, Slick!

Looks like a really nice plane!!!

Dose it by any chance come with wing bags?

One concern of mine is that 18.5 lbs. is on the heavy side for a DA/DL 50. Andrew, what are your thoughts on this? Do you think the 50 is okay for this plane or would you recommend a bigger engine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sippin' on Kool Aid
Mike,

i talked to the guys over at 3DHS and they said that with the DA/DL 50 it will have plenty of power. also, if you look at the vids of the 89" slick where AJ is running a DA 50 it doesnt seem to be lacking on power...

also, i just wanna say i cant wait to have one. gonna be my first gasser project and im kinda happy i waited this long to get one. otherwise i wouldnt have been able to get the slick

I've found out something about myself and Big planes, If I don't finish building them, they last a Long time.

I've been working on my 87" SHP for something like, 3? months now.

I haven't crashed it and , it Still looks Great.

heligrom,

Thanks for the reply. I did take a look at the videos and I have to say they look great! Just wanted to get someone else’s opinion on this topic.

You will love gassers. I got my first one (101" QQ Yak) this past summer and it's hard to go back to foamies for the winter season. Yes, they fly that well.
