I was worried a little about being able to see it but it is a big plane so that helps.

I had a bad tp battery and shipped it back to thunderpower. They gave me a new one, but it was a upgrade... I Had a prolite and they shipped a propower. I think its a new line... it had 2250 mah at 30 c... thats 68 continous amps and burst of 135 wow.. It weighed 1 1/4 more oz..
I put it in my griphen which I have dons motor in. It raised its output a lot.
460 watts of power at 40 amps.........static..
thats about 315 watts per pound.. had to adjust the cg.. Can't wait to test this new setup out........
I think even with the extra weight it ought to perform well. It weighs 23 3/4 oz....
MORE POWER......... me like....

Another topic,, I went to a site, easytigermodels.com and spoke to someone about their sr-71... They told me they did it right and that all others were way off. I asked about selling the airframe only and they told they did not because it was so hard to get the right stuff in it to fly right. I told them about don and they were kind of negetive.. Said his would not fly and that it would weigh too much..was not designed to do that... fly like a dart..
I would like to send him the vido of dons flight...
They were not impressed with the motors either, said they would not last..
I think I will just leave it alone with them.......
They said this plane would not glide but said if you lose an engine cut power and it will land nicely.....kind of confuseing...
I will stick with Don and his motors... I love my gripen.., Motor runs nice and cool and so does the esc.
Keep up the good work Don........

The guy who owns Easytiger is named Curtis Mattikow. He wrote an article in the AMA magazine called "Instant Jetification" not too long ago and mentioned how he loved my Wicked motors and he used them as upgrades for the models he reviewed.

I have new video for you guys my buddy Bill just filmed for me today I am downloading it now it is a whole flight from launch to land. I wanted to show you how slow it would and well I got too slow at the end and stalled it so don't laugh when you see then end of the video

can`t find the video. Did it go cobra on you Don? I slowed mine down too much and all of a sudden I was looking at the bottom of the plane. Minor damage.

Excellent video Don!On landing, did you do that,or did jet pitch up on its own?The jet sounds good with twins in it.Any damage on that landing? Thanks for posting a nice video of this jet.

Don, She looks and flies great. I have seen worst on the landing . At least it was fairly flat.

I was holding a little up and went to flair and it pitched way up. So lesson learned is not to flair it. The one aileron did pop out of its hinges. There are two things I need to take photos of to warn you guys about this airframe.

Here are the two issues I have come across with the airframe itself.

1) The inlet cones

Just before launch I noticed one of the inlet cones was pointed funny. I looked closer and found the stadoffs holding it were broken. I pushed it and the cone just broke right off. I was glad I did not launch as the air would have broke it off and it would have been ingested in the fan. I then pushed the other one and the foam was very soft and I was able to break it off very easily. So I then flew that video with the inlets completely open. See photos below. I suggest to reinforce these with carbon strip so they do not break off.

2) The elevon hinges. Please double check your elevon hinges. Mine were glued in but if I tugged a little they pulled right out. The glue used was a rubbery type glue. So you may want to look at that on your model.
