I didn't like the firefox parts are too brittle. Just a slight blade touch and mixing arm broke, landing gear and blade grip.

Head is a bit too loose for my taste. Not very accurate.

That's where I got mine,HK. Not the same gyro as what they show. Mine has DY 101 on the side of it. Also the servos they sent were to wide to fit the frame. I put Blue Arrows in it that work fine. The servos that came with it are in a homade Bug type plane, but smaller, that I call the Flea. The ball links have more meat than the Hurricane and fit tighter on the balls which I like. None of these landing gears are strong enough, including the Hurricane. Mine now has a piano wire tricycle landing gear like the Sikorski Dragonfly. Doesn't weigh any more and much tougher. I need tough. The plastic frame is much tougher than the Hurri too.

mulikow,..overstock sale EP-100's at BPhobbies

BPHobbies is overstocked on he Pixy Zap,..which is exactly a mini-zoom EP-100. Look at the link below,..and I would suggest the heli at the top,..the flight pack just below,..notice that flight pack has the pino MG servo's.
They are the only servo's that bolt right into the frame. It tells you to get the 4800kv BL system, is only 65.00 bucks,..however, the 3800kv is half that price with a 10amp.

That's what I ran all the time and my head speeds were consistent at 4000-4200. You do not need anything else, and the price is outstanding,..they are in NJ, USA.

I ordered 2, twenty minutes ago, only one flight pack, a 38.00 HH Gyro on there site. The heli actually comes in a box like a caring case,..and it is FULLY assembled.

Just some info for ya,...

Have fun buying stuff!!

Put the gain to 150% on the Tx. Gave it a quick test in the kitchen...seems to be holding. Well give it another maiden tomorrow afternoon. Should have vid posted then.

I have 3 or 4 pairs of 175mm plastic blades for EP100. I will let them go for $4 pair shipped to 48 lower.

Seems a few are interested in the FF100. Firstly the better performer is the 200 due to better disk loading.

The 100 is smaller though!

My suggestion is get both!
Or a Gaui 200v1 (they are much cheaper now due to the release of the V2 and Trex250) for high performance and fine tuning of skills and the 100 for "testing" and backyard flight.

FF100 kit+motor+esc (suit 3s application) $89.00 here

FF100 kit only $64.00 (here

Also strongly suggest this lower plate for rx etc here
And I used a cut down upper strengthener as a giant washer between the motor screws and the frame to stop the motor screws from damaging the frame if overtightened. here

Gaui motor and esc work well for me with 17T pinion on 2s 15C Aplus lipos. Or outrage 25c 2s packs are better.

You will need to download a instruction booklet for the Gaui 100 plastic version as the FF100 has no build instructions. You will also need a pinion and motor/esc connectors.

These FF100 helis are great but come with no assembly. There are things that need attention and a little tweaking here or there. Like fitting a set screw to stop the boom from moving in its mount and likewise for the tailcase. Don't expect a mod free (minor) build and you won't be dissapointed.

Appropriate servos are hard to find. I use Vigor Vs9's and am happy with them for sport flying.

mulikow, Thanks for starting this thread. I have two ELE 200's, one 95% complete and the other still in the box.

Anyway, I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with. What is the size of the allen screws that hold the flybar? I have look and tried everything and can't find one that fits. Also what is a good tail servo? I am using Blue Arrow 4.3's for the colective & telebee gyro. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Also, does anyone know if any of the scale bodies for the Pixy Zap will work on the 200?
