Soholingo,

I mean the end of winter in the Northern Hemisphere which is around the 21st of March. I hope sooner but I have no idea how busy work will be.

It will be for sale, I haven't come up with a price yet but it'll be less than a nice meal in restaurant, delivered to the USA and I'll have to work something out for folks outside of the USA.

Hey Roy
I got to cut some cores with Curtis the other day and they are BEAUTIFUL . I really like his technique. He has done his research and come up with a very nice setup. Not expensive at all, unless you decide to make it that way.

Good Job Curtis

Thanks
Chip

Tamiya Buggy wheels for pulleys

Hi,

Thanks Curtis for the article in RCSD; well written and free from ambiguity.

I spent $23AUS at the local marine shop on pulley wheels/bolts/washers/nuts and still couldn't get them to fit/run smooth.

Desperation set in and 2 beers later I had a solution; rip the wheels off a Tamiya Fox!

Ballraced, lightweight, large diameter and with guides built-in.

Chris,

Excellent! nice pulley's, sorry you had issues with the others.

Have you cut cores yet?

All the best.

First cut is the loosest ;0)

A couple of bumps from don't-know-what and the tip template cut too fast so I had to "nurse" the bow throught the last 2" at the root. Overall much better results than I expected.

I need some more blue foam!

I can see this working well.

Chris,

You're just about there, looking real nice.

I'm using Formica templates and I found that if I take a Dremel white disk polishing wheel it really smoothed the template after sanding.

I think this is the correct link:

hi
I work for a kitchen company (formica c-tops) when i want to smooth the edges on formica i use a file like you file steel with fine teeth

I new to this
1 ) do you cut from front to back or fuse to tip? looks like fuse to tip
2) on your templets do you use formica on both sides with wood in the center??
your templets will last longer and stay true to shape

Im looking into making DLGs (may join up with another well known person will talk to him next week at our polor bear fly )to sell with my job may not be here much longer supplier went under ,09 does not look good owners are keeping hope to find work for us
thanks falcon
