Got Spring? (Snows all gone right?

If anybody is from the Buffalo,NY area maybe you could post a few snow pictures for us Southern folks who never get to see it anymore. Understand you are getting snow in feet today. Must be interesting to live in something like that. Pete

Pete, I live just north of Buffalo, and we have no snow here. Wife works just east of town, and she reported a little bit at the office.

But there are reports of some heavy accumulations about 30 miles south of Buffalo where the ski areas are---.

Right now, it's 29 degrees outside---.

It's in the fourties this morning and heading for the thirties tonight and I love it. I get so sick of the 98 degrees in the summer with an equal amount of humidity makes for very uncomfortable living. Thing is that if your a born New Englander you will never stop missing the changes in the seasons. Down here it's just green all the time and that gets boring. Don't know how I'd like the winter up North anymore as I've been here for over fourty years.
When I was in the Scouts and Explorers up on Cape Cod we went camping in the winter. Put pine boughs on the snow and a sleeping bag on top of that and slept very well. I loved every minute of it back then.
Anyway it's great to see pictures of all that snow again. To me its beautiful. Pete

29 degrees is pretty darned cold if you ask me. I guess your lucky with no snow but South of you they are really getting hit bad. The snow does tend to bring everything to a halt but you have to admitt it pretty to look at for a little while. Pete

Funny thing Pete, after I signed off last night, I went to let the dog out, and there was about 2 inches of the white stuff on the ground---.

Must have snuck up on me---.

I feel for you guys. I haven't seen snow in seven years and I don't miss it one bit. However, cutting the grass on Christmas morning before the family comes over did take a bit of adjusting for me.

Hey Karl, I'd really appreciate it if you kept the ''lake effect'' stuff out your way and not send it to the east coast.

We have had some north of Toronto, but just a light dusting that melts in the sun. The forecast for the rest of the week says we are going to get snow.
Regards,
Gerald
