I especially like the silhouette shots; what crisp, nice pictures of this gleaming beauty. This is going to be my next sailplane -- a real do it all (catch-release. light-moderate slope runner, winch) kind of sailplane. Good camerawork Paul and nice flying Phil!

The first shot is by far the coolest. Someone good at PhotoShop should rotate it so the horizon is level.

The Espada R starts at 62oz AUW. I dropped the aluminum ballast kit that comes with the plane approx 10oz on this day. It also comes with a brass set that is 40oz wich can be mixed and matched with the alluminum. Span is 3.15 meters. The wind was about 7-8mph. I love this plane for light air!
