Beautious as expected.

What do you think a 10-16gr motor?

Mike,

I believe that would be a better choice over the C20. The more I handle the empty airframe, it seems so light, the more I feel that either of those motors would fly her adequately. Might need more power for getting off the water. Using the 10-16 gram motors, I would definitely go with a 3s setup.

Build guide is finished

Special thanks to Don (bz1mcr) for his willingness to scrutinize my attempts at a build guide. I must have sent it to him about 4 times, from the initial draft, to the final draft. I hope you find it useful. The same one will be used as a basis for 26" build guide. Should only need a few edits, like dowel rod sizes and dihedral amount.

Travis and others,

Thanks for the compliments, but especially thanks to Don (bz1mcr). His persistance is what made the build guide as neat and clear as it is.

Plans for the 34" version are coming along nicely. The beta tester is already identified. Just letting you know what is coming. Originally was going to be a 33" span, but it scaled slightly longer.

Really NICE!!

I just bought a pair of cellofoam sheets today. I may stretch the wings to 30" and use a high kv BW. want to use what ai have on hand.
Is that colored tape instead of paint?

How about a KF2 wing?

Paul,

Yes that is tape. You may need to watch prop clearance. 6" max without mods to pylon.

You could try the KFm2 wing. I however have preferred the UC over the KFm2. I have flown both 24" and 33" Blu-babies with KFm and UC wings. I like the way the UC flys these models.
