With winds at 10 mph and a temp of 70* there might be a few thermals. There's only one way to find out; I'll be at the sod farm this afternoon.

Sod farm yesterday, a little breezy, little soggy but the sun was warm and flying was good for this late in the season. Good to just be out there.

Porta Potty was there.
The grass had almost no standing water puddles, and for the most part the grass was very walk-able without damaging the grass.
Sky was clear. Wind was steady 8 MPH with an occasional gust of 15 MPH.
A great day for flying.

Please un-lock, but don't removed, the tie-downs on the port-a-potty next time someone is at the Sod-Farm so that it can be moved back to Quarry Field for storage by the service company later this month.

just in case the it doesn't get unlocked in time; the keys are in the first aid kit in the pin box. If we know when the service company is going to move it, I should be able to get there to take care of it. Otherwise I can unlock it and the leave the locks on the chains to keep it held down. Each lock has a different key.

Sorry I didn't get involved with RC Soaring this year. The weather has been horrible and I can't sign on to the VAM website. I left a message. I plan to join for 2020. Also I see there is a problem with flying into Class D airspace of WATW. So many issues.
