Thanks, I've discovered that the less I do the better I can do it.

Sod Farm Porta-Potty

For anyone planning to fly at the sod farm, for the remainder of the 2016 season, be aware that the porta-potty has been moved to Quarry Field.

I'll be at the sod farm this afternoon assimilating the fantastic ambiance and maybe even doing a little soaring.

Frozen Finger Fun Fly begins at Quarry Field at 11am on Sunday, January 1st, 2017. Thanks to the Packers organization for donating a signed packer football for our show and auction and for moving their game to a later time to avoid conflicting with our event! Time to get your models ready. The grill will be ready at noon so bring some hot dogs or burgers to cook and perhaps items to share. Should be plenty warm in the clubhouse.

Some pilots use a transmitter glove to keep their hands warm like this one: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...rap-ready.html

Ted was always very helpful and liked the rubber band powered models also. Ted helped out at the show and auction for many years and was a regular at club meetings and other club events.

The port-o-potty is in place and anchored down, the keys are in the first aid kit box. The fire extinguisher is re-charged and in the pin box. Pretty wet out there.

Thank you for the update Mike. Yes, I was out there last night and it was very soggy.

With a wind forecast of 5-10 mph and a temp in the high 60's, it looks like a good day for soaring. I'll be at the sod farm this afternoon.

Radar shows an area of showers moving past. My guess is that the rain will be gone by noon. I'll be at the sod farm this afternoon to see if my guess is accurate.

Spotty showers are in the forecast but such a trivial thing will not deter me. I'll be at the sod farm this afternoon; e.t.a., 1:00 p.m.
