What could possibly go wrong?

Thanks for posting the link Hobie14. I think the Bluebird benefits from being an almost circular plan. If you want a broad-winged soaring type of bird, like Tom Frank's excellent Eagle, Tom's brilliant idea of keeping the outboard end of the ailerons fixed and the ailerons broader at the inboard end is definitely the way to go. Otherwise, a very short, broad tail, coupled with a high Angle of Attack at the tip when the aileron is down will make a tip stall difficult to control. Lots of differential is good, but I like this idea better!

That looks fantastic!

It may just fly as is. I could be VERY wrong but, (1) do you have enough washout (2) enough nose weight (3) and enough dihedral?
Just looking at it, I can tell it'll need just a little bit of attention in a few areas and you'll be good to go. ""IMO""only!

That was pretty cool Sam.
I like the idea of a pusher so that the head is not messed up with the prop.

Yes it is Sam!

Tell us about pitch control. Does tail and the motor all move up and down together? Do you just have elevator and aileron? I like the legs protecting the prop. Does that small pusher make a lot of noise?

Thanks for posting

Working now on an albatros, EPP wings and fiberglass fuselage. Wing span 2,4m, weight about 1,2kg. It will be a real glider for long flights.
