Do you mean a single servo droops the leading edge at the same time as raising the aileron panel and vice versa? What's the benefit?

Whatever it is, it obviously works beautifully.

Lastly. Do you have any suggestions based on the pictures I sent you?

Thank you.
I glued the wings together because of the FPV equipment. The receiver and video transmitter are build in the wings. If you want to make the wings come off, you have to use lots of connectors.

About your epp falcon, sure I have received your pictures. Well, I think you have to give it a try. I would start simple with a rudder and ailerons and use a vertical fin in the beginning.

Currently the wing and tail are set at the same angle.
Stick with the plans... keep the wings flat with no built-in reflex.

EPP Peregrine

Been looking back to the very start of this thread.

Very impressed by the EPP Peregrine. Is it still available as a kit?

We get that question several times a month. The answer is no (although I wish it were yes). It is still one of my favorite designs ever. It is too complex to cut and is not a beginner plane to fly. Strange shaped wings don't fly the same at all speeds.

I learned a lot when we built the Peregrine. Other planes have some inspiration from this design including our Pelican, Albatross and Storm Chaser. We have those planes flying so well that we may try to add feathers to the design to get a bird look on a fantastic flying design.

Oh!! is this bird easy to fly As i havn't flown for so long i thought that this slow / large bird would be a good starting point (as well as my magnum-reloaded)

Well i wasn't dissapointed she flew great, looked great and gave me so much confidence i only had a short flight but i know i'm going to love those long summer evenings, not much wind, wife with a bottle of wine!

Just anothe video. I'm not living close to the ocean side where the gulls are breeding now. So I have to wait some time to meet up with them again. But...I met a few friendly gulls and flew with them. My first moment that birds don't be scared for my model.

Excellent plane and flight.

I learned that when I am flying with real birds I try to stay lower than they are.

Predators take a higher position before a kill and anything with speed or an altitude advantage gets a "run away" response from the birds.

If I gently circle at a lower altitude I can get birds to come in high looking for the thermal I am in. The motor doesn't seem to bother them much.

As always, that was a good video. Can you do a few safe low passes next time?

I managed to maiden the Birdy pod and boom KFm9+1layer( designated a KFm11)... another excellent flier that glides better than expected with its lower aspect ratio wing..
I used an 800 lipo on this one and an emax 1806/25 motor.. plenty of power and speed in the climb, and when I throttled back I actually started gaining some height in the slight lift above the flats...
I used a spektrum compatible orange rx's today .. with no problems ..
So the new multi top step wing glides very well...

birdy build ..a pod and boom light weight glider at https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...1401748&page=4 post 54 on

The Birdy also put the wind up the local sea gulls, who started squarking... lol
