Help needed for selecting EDF power systen for Tamjet F-16 1/12

Getting into the EDF jets. Acquired a tamjest now I need a power system. Need help selecting a power system for it. Do not want to spend $1000 for fan/ motor and Speed controller.
What is a comparable system to tam jet’s proposed system?
Will the 90mm airpack system can work for this bird.
All suggestion are welcome.

Midi 90mm fan set up is the cheapest and reliable system under $300 you can go with.
Friend of my fly with 6s and able to do 120mph with it.

Mine has 2.5 Kw with a Medusa 1500 Kv 36-60-1500 motor with heat sink in a Midifan pro. Sentilion 100 Amp ESC HV, 8S 3850 TP EX. 7+ Lbs installed thrust at 8.3 Lbs AUW with full Oleos HD landing gear. I hope to maiden in spring a little cold now.

Some options

Other motors: ARC from lifeflight

Super light set-up: HET 36mm motor on 5 or 6S and very light landing rear.
Should be around 7Lbs AUW RTF. at 1200 - 1400 watts.

Thanks for sharing.
options are good for our health.
Nowadays, Flyer can't go wrong with
any of his choice of power.
EDF stuff nowadays is
like fast food. Quick, easy and dirty but
very very tasty...

LOL :-)

The AP900 fan works pretty well, and you can use a variety of motors. In the long run, you're gonna kick yourself if you get an el-cheapo setup. That plane is amazing flyer with a small quality powerplant, and a complete blast to fly with a fast setup.
