OK, just ordered feathering shafts, se mixer arms, and se blade grips.. coming from china so it'll be awhile I imagine.. But my 450 parts should be here any day so hopefully I'll be flying something other than my MCX this week..

Really...its so much cheaper to order a bunch of screws and nuts from modelfixings.co.uk. Shipping is under 7 days. We are talking about a 3.00 dollar fix to fix the tail issue problem....lol
Ive heard that those new blade grips dont fix the problem...Still not enough weight. |

The Microheli Precision CNC Tail grips I ordered turned up yesterday, was fed
up with the amount of play in the stock grips. I can't praise this new tail grip enough, it has NO play, none, zilch, finito It is much better then I expected it would be, my tail held great before sporting the gy520 & s9257, but there was a slight bit of a gitter here & there, the new "no-play" grips has gotten rid of my last 250 annoyance The 250 is flying so damn well, I love it to pieces |

That's really strange... I can go into several stores in town and find both US and UK standard and metric size (even the strange ones like M1.6) fasteners and bearings, and usually in steel, stainless, brass, aluminium, titanium, nylon and even ceramic (yes, ceramic screws). Why is that not possible anywhere else?
Have you tried a specialist precision bearing supplier? They ordinarily carry the fasteners as well, even if they don't advertise the fact. |

In New Zealand, the market is smaller, so an individual store will carry more specialty items. Around here, the market is huge, so stores carry only what sells well, and they send you to a specialty shop for other stuff. Someone around here has the stuff, but it can be hard to find out who.

M1.6 Hardware
You can get M1.6 hardware at McMaster Carr .
Only problem is you have to buy in packs of 10-50 (sometimes more). Share with your friends and family! I found these that are useful for our 250s. M1.6x8 Pan head Phillips - $6.75/25 M1.6x8 Cheese head Slotted - $1.13/10 M1.6x10 Cheese head Slotted - $9.56/50 M1.6x12 Cheese head Slotted - $4.17/25 M1.6 Hex nuts |

1.6 x 12....depending if they are measuring from top to bottom...or just the thread...lol
mine were the 1.6 12.....and i trimmed a tad off...i dont think the 8's would have been long enough...they didnt have 10's. Mine were also button head hex. Not the phillips...they tend to strip to easy. The stainless steel button head gave you that extra needed weight. |

Metric screw lengths are always measured from the washer face of the head to the end. If it has a partial blank shaft that portion should be listed separately.
