9lives ... part II does not have the 1400 in it. LS would not provide one for any projects I have inquired about.

I am using a Dons EDF motor in a hopped up L39 I have. I was not talking about DonsRC. HE does not make the 1400. And I am in the early stages of playing around with some of the new motors from HM.

Here is a link to a video of another AMX I have:

Jon,
Whats the $ difference between going the Stock ARF version vs. buying the fuse and getting all the after-market goodies you used in the HM model?

Gracias,
Clams

Jon, I wasnt referring to LSJS1400 in my post. Although it may read like it. lol. Since LS wouldnt donate, then I would have seen if Don would or even the Hoffman motors such as Mighty Mite 60mm. Hope this helps to clarify my post better.

Yep, I thought I saw the AMX amongst your fleet! Great review and excellent video, Jon. The backdrop to your flying site is gorgeous. Jets in the wine country, gotta love it.

With 2 servos in the tail for the elevator, where would you put a servo for the rudder?

Cool Model and review BTW!

Thanks kydawg and Davin!

Embarrassingly, I asked my four year old daughter to count the planes Daddy has hanging in various places around the house ... when she told me, I laughed and said you must have made a mistake Sweetie, can you count again? She was adamant with her answer though, and so Daddy did the count .... 20+!

No worries Jon....my current fleet of flying models (not in kit form or waiting for repairs) is around 50. I had to buy a Futaba 9CHP Super TX so I could get the aftermarket 96 model memory chip for it. I have double that in unbuilt kits.

Probably a REAL good question? I am thinking a very small sub micro, probably 5 grams, in the base of the rudder? I'll post photos if/when I finally do it.

Are they all flight ready, with esc's, servos and receiver ?
