Too bad I didn't listen a year ago or I'de be way ahead of where I am. I lost a whole year because I was lazy and stubborn. This should be a good lesson for the new guys. Don't do what I did. Work the harriers every time out.

How do you guys compare this to the original SHP in terms of flight? Is it significantly different in some ways? I know there is the 4S option.

I still have my SHP from the first shipment with all the original gear as recommended when it came out. Still does great on 3S. I am tempted to pull the gear and put it in this new airframe.

The Edge is lighter-feeling on the wing, more responsive, has more yaw authority. It's a bit higher-performance all the way around.

but lighter with more wing area.

Jon, if your SHP is still functional, just fly it. If anything, just fly the crap out of it, fly it DOD, and .... if you crash... you have "options" .

Sounds like you have obsoleted every 3D plane on the market. The SHP is just about perfect, so how do you build something even better.

Sign me up. I'm pretty excited about this one.

Upright wingrock is something that really bothers me, just a little pet peeve of mine, thats why I like the Slick so much. This one looks better if not just as good in the upright position. I'm excited about these too. Got two coming.

Pretty cool second video. Nicely cut together with the different venues. Man, I wish I had an indoor stadium to fly in.

Bonedoc,

Where do you usually fly? One of the club fields? I'd like to get you to come up to Kerrville and show off your skills. Might even grill you a hot dog! Hmmm, think we could get Ben to come down?

He made me look bad in front of all my flying buddies, and with my own airplane too!

And the guy brings a dozen airplanes and flies them nonstop. Never saw so many rolling circles. I could stay busy just charging his batteries!

Doc is far too modest with his skills, and far to generous with his compliment .

Josh, tell us something about the 47" Edge 540 flight performance that we don't know. How does it compare to the SHP in terms of how easy it is to fly and how forgiving it is? Since this plane is so rock free in a harier, have SFG just been obsoleted?

Ben, can you show us some more photos of the plane, preferrably close ups?

I'm chomping at the bit on this one.
