It's rough being a SoCal Hucker .......the wind was actually pretty weird that day. At times it would swirl around from different directions at about 8mph, then go dead, then swirl again, caught me off guard a couple times Today it's blowing about 20-30

Thanks DP

I can't remember where to mount the reciever. Do I put it on the battery tray right in front of the wings spar?

I've got about 8 flights on my new 47" Edge and she's coming alive!!! I had a lazy rudder servo, (65MG), for the first few flights and changed it out to a 81MG, only thing I had laying around, and now we are in business!!
Plane really fly's nice, and I'm not done getting it set up in the radio. Now I have to be careful not to get too comfortable with it. I want to fly it for a little while. I will be getting more 3DHS planes. Very good planes and the support community here is the best there is!!

The width was ok, cut about 3/16" out of the back, right to the cross brace. And just a hair out of the front . Added a small piece of balsa to the cross brace to catch the rear mounting screw. It's right behind the wing tube and only 0.2 oz heavier than a 65MG, so not bad on the cg.

Nice flying Rob!

My Boy Matt Owens the Local Town Hobby USA, in Brookfield, CT. I turned him on to a 42" slick, and only a month later he's getting the 47" Edge. Another coolaid addict is born .

It took we 3 tries, but I'm almost done recovering my fuselage. By the time I was done paying for materials ,and tools I could have bought 2 new fuse'es.

At least I have ALL the tools now, and Even though I used the stock colors(didn't rewrap the wings,or tail feathers), I was able to blend in some custom work on the fuselage.

I should have it done this week end.I hope to fly it before I go in for knee surgery on the 11th.

I'll post picks next week.

thanks guys.

Sounds like your getting there Tim.

I've received a lot of requests on that vinyl package. So I'm gonna get it up on the site next week for the 47" and 55" EDGE's. The same package looks great on both color scheme's.
