Can you give some more info on this one? Weight, Wing span?

Looks really good. I've been wanting a wood Jenny, hopefully a kit.

This is Dare kit designed by Pat Tritle. Top Wing: 43", Length: 26", Area: 348 sq. in., Weight: 12 - 13 oz. More information is available at their website: http://www.darehobby.com/

Pat also has a new, larger version available on his own website: http://www.patscustom-models.com/

Aerodrome R/C has an aileron version, too: http://www.aerodromerc.com/

Good luck!

Thanks so much for that info, that Dare site - wow, how'd I miss that one for being in this hobby for over a year now!

It's exactly what I've been looking for - a 40-45 inch WS Jenny, that's super light. Only problem - no ailerons.

I have seen the aerodrome model before, but I wasn't too impressed seeing that they call it a, what, 26oz plane? Too heavy. But then I finally noticed the short builders description that goes with the photos - he says it's 17oz. that's better, but not 12-13 like yours.

I'm in a quandry here, I would really like ailerons, (and I could cut them into the Trittle plane). Just not sure which one is the better build.

Do you know of any build threads just for your type, or the aerodrome one?

I really like the 60" one too, (22oz!!) but I'm not sure I want to take wings out to fit in the car!
