SOVEREIGN 2m first flight

Had my first flight of the Sovereign this afternoon. Unfortunately was not able to coordiate with the local club so All I had was a light weight histart for hand launch gliders. For a 2 meter the sovereign is light at 32 oz auw. Was able to get 150 feet of the launch and found some lift even at low altitude. I had several flights in the 3 to 5 min.
The Sovereign by laser arts was a quick and easy build and flys great right off the board. I recommend it.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the report. Sounds good. Time to start mine. What is the "float" on landing? Do you think a spoiler would be an advantage?
Thanks - Jack

Jack, the float is quite significant. I think some sort of lift killing device is in order, especially if you need to land in a tight space. I also found the wing to be strong, tip stalled and went in wing tip first with no damage at all.
Good luck
Scott
