Has anyone figured a way to get rid of that spike of power right after braking aside from changing the speed controller and transmitter? I'm using the throttle pad (spacer) and it works great to get past that spike, but the minute you use the brakes the spike is there again. Better than nothing I guess. It just makes me wonder why they put that split second surge of power in all three of their throttle curves!

Not really man, other than ripping out electronics and throwing in the bin and replace with Micro losi brushless setup 1/36 , then ya start getting some serious speed an power slides out of corners LOL maybe highside here and there !

AHHH Might do a new video soon !

Im not sure mate as i hav'nt tried one, i think someone earlier in the thread was fitting them on with a bit of adapting.

Mine is Honda too, I just want to know the new complete setup of your(this) Honda? I saw the image on how you modified it and I'm amazed how neat it was. 'Coz as much as possible, I don't want any modification on the chassis. And you made it just what I want.

Probably any 1/12 scale with a bit of trimming & drilling new mounting holes would fit but i can't say for sure & those mini champs are not cheap, i think Nevped said that the new ray bodies fit with a bit of adapting, i think it's just a buy & try deal mate.

Yep u can use Minichamp if ya want mega detail , but also u can get newray brand, also maisto but i reckon that newray is pretty good, Tyres no good tho plastic Minichamp is expensive but nice looking detail, i have 98 NSR 500 ole mighty Mick Doohan

I have only 1 Minichamps bike:

Beautifull but there is only 2 screws (none for the body), so I don't know how to open
And metal body adaptation would not not be easy
New Ray kits are cheaper and better to make rc upgrade

the worm drive could make driving a little different.
the wheel will have a lot of dificulty turning the motor

so when you reduce throttle, wheel speed will be reduced at the same time.
you will not be able to let go of the throttle without the rear wheel locking up



i tried my ducati on 2s lipo yesterday... big difference in speed.
the sudden burst of power as the throttle is applies, was amplified to the point of many highsides
the steering also became more of a shortfall.

looks like it will soon be time for some modifications.
direct steering and a better esc for starters

Great work lalaine, it's awesome...

If you can manage to put that in Silverlit, It would be great and better alternative to belt drive system....

Hi everyone!

Here are some pics of my first modified silverlit... it was 2 years ago, now I have one more with both direct steering and HOR.

I used for this bike:
- Robitronic RS-140 Esc
- GWS 40Mhz 3 channel receiver
- 9Gr servo
- Mini-Z Stock AD-Band motor
- NewRay Kawasaki 1:12 body
- 2x Li-Ion 780Mah
- Hand made foam rear tire

IT IS FAST AS HELL!!! hahahaha

...Tomorrow Ill send to lasercut some parts for my new Proto bike 1:12, I will show some pics when it arrives... Im planning to sell them as upgrade for Stock silverlit or for making a real 1:12 racebike.
