Steve, when you say Micro-T and Spektrum, are you referring to this integrated DSM/ESC module:
http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodId=LOSB0831
I don't see other Losi Micro receivers with DSM technology...

And one last question: are 27MHz receivers compatible cross-brand (ie the Losi Micro-T 27MHz receiver with my Traxxas TQ 27MHz transmitter), of course assuming to find matching crystals?

Thanks!

No I use this,

http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFun...n&ItemID=30132 And the small micro spektrum rx out of its case, 27mhz rx will cross over to other 27mhz transmitters

This is the Rx I use

Sorry Steve, I started from a conclusion (switching to Spektrum DSM) and now I'm working my way back thanks to your answers... so let me tell you what I really would like to do, and you might be able to give me a suggestion:
1) get rid of the crappy Silverlit transmitter
2) get rid of the annoying "throttle kick" (without using the spacer trick)
What would be the easiest/cheapest way to achieve these goals?

By the way, the only surface transmitter I have around is a Traxxas TQ 2-ch 27MHz AM, but I doubt it will work with the Ducati's receiver, as it seems to be FM. I was thinking to switch my RC car to Spektrum anyways, and that's why I mentioned DSM in the first place... but if it's not needed, I don't HAVE to switch.

No worries Nev, dont forget to get some motor screws, you dont get any with the motor and esc, I bought some Atomic ones off the bay but they did not fit, I think they are 1.5mm, the ones I was sent were 1.7mm, I ended up taking them out of my micro T. Still good to see you are having a go, hope I can help along the way my mate just converted the Ducati ok.

Where to get parts Silverlit 1/12 in US?

Anyone know where to buy Silverlit 1/12 spare parts in the US? I am planning to get Silverlit 1/12, but if I can't find any hobby shop that carries them, I have to get venom Gpv-1 instead.

I don't think you can get spare parts for it but I may be wrong.

The Silverlit is toy grade and not hobby grade. It is intended to be sold at places like Walmart and Toys R Us which would never carry replacement parts.

That said, it is a cool bike anyway.

Its not far away from being Hoby grade, metal wheels and good tires, and a real strong glass reinforced frame, super scale bikes, we run losi brushless set ups in ours and broke nothing even though we are pushing well over 25mph on rough track, standard radio is not good but everything else about the bike is well made, I have loads of bikes but this is one of my favourits
