Hi got one at ToysXL (previous Toys r US) in the Netherlands. Got it on sale for about 37 dollars.

If you looking for extra batteries check (official parts shop from the site) But shipping is way too much, 10 dollars per item So two batts will be 20 dollars shipping..............

I've got a couple left.

I made a special trip to Canada and I bought the last six in Windsor.
I'm keeping one and one for parts A friend's getting one and one for parts so I've got two up for grabs.

I'll let them go, shipped in the US, for $75 ea.

Some more driving today, nice little bike indeed and the Repsol colors look really nice in the sun. Local shop will get extra batteries soon, so some more driving time

If the bikes are hard to get in the US, maybe the Venom is a better option
Bit more money, but lot's more speed.

I suppose I should mention that all the bikes I have to sell are the Ducati, 27 MHz channel A. Everything new in box with receipt.

I'd be more than willing to trade if somebody has a Repsol they are willing to part with.

Need help with lipo battery

Hi All just got a repsol Silverlite the other day, i want to run normal steering with the 2 Cell Lipo Battery, But I AM very confused with this topic of reversed polarity of battery wires or the esc plug on Bike Which one is it , Someone help with brand of battery and how to mount correctly , i also have lipo charger so thats ok'

Come on guys need help LOL ps pretty good little bike without crash bars , But i want that extra SPEED WHOOHOO

Hello, do you mean by "steering normal? Hor? or the same for motorcycles 1:5?

For insert correct lipo in the bike try to measuring the polarity with voltmeter

or see the color of wire

silverlit plug battery -----black----- > to black of lipo plug battery

silverlit plug battery -----red-------- > to red of lipo plug battery

if you want increase the speed my suggest is wait, first try with lipo battery , with only lipo 2s the bike increase a good speed!

but depends which is your target! if you put different electronic ( esc, servo, receiver) the benefits are:

more speed

more precision of control for gas/brake throttle and steering

Requires some manuality and patience! but high speed makes the small bike uncontrollable

Losi 7.4V, 180MAh 2-Cell LiPo Battery. True 10C continuous discharge rate with 15-20C bursts.

yes the lipo is good, no problem for the brand o some details, is importat only the voltage ( not over 7.4v ) and naturally the dimension for put in the bike!

I suggest to search on e**y the lipo, from hong kong location, are 200mah 7.4v and fit perfect in the bike, and are less expensive of the losi lipo etc...

Not request capacity of discarge etc... in teory any lipo is good!

To answer your question from your pm, here's what a JST plug and socket look like, and this is how they're supposed to be wired up (in that order). The socket has a ridge so the plug only goes in one way (unless you push hard).

The Silverlit Ducati has the red and black wires swapped over so I assume they all do. Though it's the bike that's "wrong", it's easier to change your battery wires over. Use a needle or similar to press down on the metal tab and pull the wires out. Do it one at a time and keep them apart - maybe use some masking tape on the first one til the second one is back in the plug.

Once you've done that you can only charge the lipo through the balance plug (JST-XH plug) so make sure your charger can do that before you rewire the battery.

If you're good at soldering in tight places, you could cut and swap the ESC wires instead. If you do that, make sure you swap the wires on the NiMH pack that came with it, and make up a cross-over adapter if you want to still use the NiMH charger - another good reason not to swap the ESC wires, I guess.

EDIT: Here's one of my rewired new NiMH packs (rearranged to fit the Ducati), the stock NiMH pack and my cross-over adapter cable. Notice the position of the red and black wires:

The cross-over adapter is just so I can slow charge the packs using a normal charger, instead of using the stock one.
