forgot to say,the problem above would be the pot or motor wires the wrong way round causing the pot to think its not centered.

ive got a mini-z 2.4 board for mine, question is do i keep the stock motors(size) or fit a mini-z one?

any good with re-soldering the ariel wires?

looking at previous pics, those circuit boards on the back of the stock motors are for noise reduction.
ill see how easy it is to fit a mini-z size motor later, maybe thats the answer (that board may not be able to power the stock 2 motor setup)

Bert, that board will not run even the one motor clean, and now the servo decided to burn out for some strange reason

Silverlit real radio set up.

Hi all, at last I have finished my Silverlit bike, it now has a GWS esc, Corona 40meg rx and blue bird high powered servo, I made a simple servo saver that uses an o ring on an extended rider moving arm, this works very well and is easy to make, what was not so easy was getting it all the radio in the bike as very limited space, had to solder the half size crystal on to wires and then to the rx to get it away from the front of the bike, then cut off the plugs on the servo and esc to solder them direct on to the pins of the rx, I think I have the rider just a little too far back but not a problem. Well I have run the bike and got to say its just fantastic I am so pleased with it, I have no brake but it slows down very quickly, I have so much more control without that big power surge, will turn really nice and smooth now and I can use all the settings in my 3VC Futaba radio, I can make the rider move more with the atv which makes the bike turn even better, plus speed seems to be up as well, that Corona rx has good range even with the aerial rolled up and just soldered to the original wire aerial. So now maybe I can look for faster motors, but only a 2 amp esc, works fine as it is now but hotter motors may be too much for it, they do a 5 amp but not sure about the size.

That looks really good Steve.

Nice work - shame its so tricky to do.
Mine will have to stay standard, dont think I could do all what you have done

We need a video of it in action now...

Now I have done one, I could do another one easy, when you do the first one you spend hours and hours just looking and looking, and thinking of how you are going to get it all in then make parts that dont fit over and over till you get it right, this is a very simple conversion, and well worth doing trust me, and cheap

Also the link above (playasia) says "on back order".

Good luck with the conversion.
