Too many choices! What plane to buy?

I've searched online for 4 days--pouring over Ezone, and visiting online stores. I've discovered too many choices. And created too many wants.

I'd like to thermal.
Something that can handle wind.
I'd like to do some aerobatics(warmliner).
Something with ailerons.
I'd like an ARF. No rocket science needed to finish it.
Something with the looks of a v-tail or possibly a t-tail.
I'd like to wow the gassers.
Something with a longer wing 60" - 2m+ but breaks down to fit in a hatch back.
I'd like to use my sub-c packs - 1400s, 1900s and 2000s. Or my 600aes.
Something that uses my HS81MGs and receiver.
I'd like to stay around ~$300 with motor, prop, spinner, gearbox, ESC/BEC if possible. Or a splurge may be in order.

Ones I've looked at:
The Alto from EAM or New Creations
The Crazee from EAM or Dymond
The Phoenix AL from Cermark (not a v-tail but a cheap combo)
The Filip V from NE Sail
Possibly even a framed Skimmer
Mini Ellipse from Aero-Model

Which one or anything better? Please help me decide or at least rule some out.

This plane is to get me out and away from my square-headed girlfriend, my computer. I already spend too much on her.

Thanks for any help.

from what i heared i think you can take the "Alto" off your list (try searching for it in the e-flight archive...).
a good candidate might be the "Spark 2" from icare - http://www.icare-rc.com/ althogh a bit expensive its suppose to be a step up from the models you listed (from most of them). never seen it, only heared about it - thermals, aerobatics... maybe someone who know more about it can contribute.

good luck, Oded.

The crazee may not be the choice for you. It is an aerobatic sailplane but it will not wow the gasers. It has reasonable performance but nothing to wow at. To be able to wow you will need a hotliner.

Thanks for the help. I ordered the Filip T-tail from Sal on Saturday, along with his cobalt combo.

gyrogearloose suggested the T-tail because you can put a servo in the tail giving the fuse more room.

Now i have to wait for it to arrive.

I don't know if this is going to help you decide, but I got a really good deal on a bunch of Honey electrics. This is 54" span but fully molded. I don't know if this totally fit with your needs. I will be offering this for sale to e-zoners for $160.00!!!

Hi! Mike;

Did you fly your Bat Honey Electric yet?
Did it perform like we said?

My email is in the process of being upgraded, and I don't if I have received all my email.
