Anyone know of any Speed 400-F5B planes out there?

I'm interested in the F5B planes but don't have the neccessary funds for such a plane. I heard of the Speed 400-F5B and thought it would be a much cheaper alternative. I did a search for 400-F5B and saw a couple of real nice planes. The only sites that would come up though were in Japanese. Does anyone know of any Speed 400-F5B type planes and the sites I can find them at? Anyone have some experience with the 400-F5B? Any help would be appreciated.

Check out these 3 http://www.nesail.com/falcon.html http://www.aeromodel.com/planes/fvk/index.htm http://www.hobby-lobby.com/smart.htm
The FVK Bandit seems like it might be the best choice for someone who is on a budget.

Dont forget The Bat electric from nesp.
It is pretty neat. also called the Honey electric. Very light, and while not real exiting it will fly on a speed 400!

Has anyone else seen the "SCUD" from Diamond?
I saw it at toledo. It was a neat hotliner all molded,skin hinged etc. I cant remember the details. Helmut said he has a 500 size brush motor that will put it at 120 mph. I am just repeating what I was told! $16.95
Anyway, the airframe was really nice $299--
It is not on the webpage that I know of, so you would have to call.

Hi! Acer;

If your on a budget, the Filip E T-Tail Promax 400 and prop is a bargain for $119.95. I'm sorry, I forgot to mention it includes a prop with mounting system. As far as I know they still have them in stock, but I don't how much longer they will have them.

Also looking for similar

I'm also looking for something in this category. I want something that flies as close as possible to the Filip E RG from NESailplanes, but I don't like ARFs. Does the K&A Odyssey fly similarly? The Raptor Petrel looks sweet, but I wasn't able to find anywhere that still supplies it. My ideal s400 sailplane would be 60", close to 400 sq in. area, strong fiberglass fuse, foam wings covered with balsa, built up tail, kit. I want to power it with maybe a small outrunner brushless and LIPO battery. In the end what I 'm going for is high performance slope glider style flying without the slope, and to be able to thermal. Anybody have opinions? Oh, cheap is good. I like the price of the Odyssey.

.. "real" f5b airframes don't have much more than 400 sq.".. you'd only want about 200 for a speed 400-sized model..
