Apache APM30-18T Motor & Jeti 30-3p ESC

This must go as a set - this old Jeti is the best performing ESC I've used with the motor, and I spent alot of time trying different combinations. I want to save the buyer the hassle...

Apache APM30-18T Motor, Jeti Gold Label 30-3P ESC, and FMA AVC1AIR - $80.00 Shipped USPS ConUS

This motor was in my Stevens Aero Groove 480 for several years. The Jetis is older, but it works EXTREMELY well with thsi motor. The FMA unit adds an auto-detect LVC to the system.

This motor arrived on the scene about the same time as the Hacker A-series outrunners and Torque outrunners. It is very similar to the A30-16M and Torque 2818-900, but has a slightly different KV. If you search through this thread, there is a little bit of real-world user data about this motor from thinair7000 and BryCycles.

Some quick test data from tonight:

GWS 11x7HD
10.66 V
28.2 A
301 W
8700 RPM

APC 10x5E (This is what the motor spent most of its life swinging)
10.99 V
22.4 A
246 W
9600 RPM

I prefer Paypal, but will take Money Orders. No personal checks, please. For MOís, I donít ship until Iíve received the MO.

The only things Iím interested in are the old Park Flyer Motors Laird Super Solution kits or Spring Air 603 retract sets.

I have dial-up and live in the country, so while Iíll respond at least daily to these threads and my PMís, be patient with me. I ship USPS first class, with delivery confirmation, within 2 days after I receive funds. I will insure the packages at the buyers request for $2.00 extra.

I bought the motor new from Steven's when he first started carrying them back in 2005... It was a great upgrade from what I had been trying to run in that plane. Over the life of the aircraft, I experimented with different cells and ESC's to get the best package. This motor, whe run with two different PHX 25's, a PHX 35, and an E-Flite 1st Gen 20A ESC, was noisy. Very powerful, but noisier than I wanted. Software versions or settings didn't make any difference.

I put the Jeti on as a last resort, and it was magic! The motor is now almost silent, turns a higher RPM from the same Watts, and runs cooler. Don't know what the technical difference is, but it's now a perfectly matched system. The ESC does not have a LiPo-compatible LVC, so I added an FMA AVC1AIR low-voltage detection unit. Instructions for this unit will be included, and I'd recommend the buyer re-set the unit to their tastes...

Usual suspect.
It looks identical to my Torque 2818/900... Fantastic motor, good for 390+w on 3s and will put up with 500+ watts on 4s. Nearly indestructable.

It is a great motor! I just don't have anything in my que that it will work for, so I'm trying to find it a good home rather than collecting dust on my bench.

Like I said, I'd really rather sell them as a set. They are PERFECTLY matched in more ways than just the rated currents and power outputs... Thanks for asking though.

Still available guys...
