Ok, so I got one too

It's an awesome flyer. No coupling that I can find, even on KE. But it's a bit heavy at 33oz. But then again I'm using heavy equipment. Need to go to HS65's or HS81's all around, instead of using these high speed standard sized futabas on ailerons, and a standard HS77 on the rudder. HS82MG on the elevator.

Motor system is a Cermark NEO15-900 outrunner, Jeti70 ESC, Impulse 3cell 2100 mah lipo, and a Mojo 5A BEC. This provides me with pretty much a rocketship, that will climb to speck heights in litterally seconds. It's the motor system I was using in my DW BAF Yak 54.

I only have one problem right now: GLITCHING I'm going to try and figure out what the problem is hopefully today. I've been wanting to get out and fly it lately

so i changed my order to a yak instead of juka

going to be running RCer MGs35s all over, but only using MGs55 for the rudder

i cant wait for it to get here, but USPS had not update these past few days, it's still saying that it was picked up at San Diego, let's hope nothing goes wrong

I have been thinking about making a 80 inch Juka. I would double up on the 9 mm depron. Can not find any bigger carbon rod for the wing yet. What ye all think ?

you can use helicopter CF tail booms, but i dont think they're long enough

i'm using the scorpion 3014-22 with a 12x3.8SF prop

my LHS ran out of 13x4.7SF so i went with 12 instead

as for servos, refer back to my other post

RCer MGs all around

i finished with the horizontal frame, vertical frame, hinged rudder, hinged elevator

i also got everything beveled, working on the wing spars now

this build is going fast!

i'm waiting for the glue to dry!

What would be the best setup that I could get for the lowest price? Preferably from Hobbycity! -Tyler

Removable Wings and Landing Gear?

I know this thread is old, but hope to revive it.

Just received my new 48" Yak (Christmas present) in the mail and am going thru the instructions. Do I understand correctly that gluing in the optional landing gear will cause the wings to not be removable? If so, that's disappointing.
