That's right guys, I am calling you all out.
This is the "No More Excuses" F3b event. This will be a full F3b event, flying all three F3b tasks to FAI rules. The only rule we will be suspending, is the rules about launch equipment. F3b legal winches will be allowed to use F3b legal mono-filament line, but any winch can be used with normal braided line. So no more excuses, any plane any winch.
Also, we will be flying 2 classes, Master and Sportsman. This will allow the top dogs to compete against each other, while the new Sportsman fliers will be coached by the Master pilots. Think of it as the best between both worlds. Tough high end competition, and introductory level competition as with top level tutelage.
So come one and come all. There is no better way to break though your skill level at soaring than flying F3b.
I am calling you out, NO MORE EXCUSES
Rock on dudes !! No fear in these four !!
Zepher13 aka Zippy is a wild man and flies as hard as he parties, that's why he is my timer and team mate (team Esteem) in full affect. Wow, sponsored by a surf shop ! That Rocks Dude !
DK, is fun, energetic, knowledgeable and potty trained. How can you not luv this guy ! He play's a major roll in my f3b endeavors.
gregore' play's hard. He starts from the top and stay's there. He used a Ceres for learning and now will be flying a Precious.
Bro, I'm glad you can join in on the fun. Looks like a Ceres party to me !
Come on out. You will have fun and learn a lot.
I still have a boat load of pancake mix and syrup. We're on baby.
See you all there.
Absolutly, the idea of this contest is to bring in some new bload, as well as let the veterans get some team experiance. The two class system (Master and Sportsman) is setup so that the veterans can fly against eachother, and the new pilots can fly against eachother while being coached by the veterans. So any first timers should jump at the oppertunity to learn from the best pilots in the country.
Also, any SoCal pilots interested in trying F3b have an open invitation to come out and practice with me. It will give you the oppertunity to set up a plane and get comfortable with launching. It will allow you to get even more out of flying the event, as you can focus on the task rather than just the launch...
So come one, come all, no more excuses, this contest is for you.
