Very nice job! Where did you get that big fat spinner? Looks great. I have tried to find one, but never have. Mine is ready for flying year 12

If that airplane doesn't do anything for you, you're in the wrong hobby,or at least the wrong section of it.
That's as good as a day at the field...thank you.

Thanks for the comments. The spinner on my Stinson is a Tru-Turn AT-6 (Texan) spinner. I can't remember the size right off the top of my head. Maybe 3"?, and Tru-Turn cut it for the APC 18x10 prop.
One of these days I'm going to lower it from the ceiling and get some better pics of it.

Stinson gathering

Myobal.....I don't have a bit of control over the Hagerstown Md. Fly-in,but I'll suggest they use the Stinsons as a theme..They've had 'Liason' themes before,so maybe they're open to this.
It's a model fly-in,of course, and maybe some locals can break free to attend.
The seed will be planted this week...It's a mid summer event.More info here later.

Just a suggestion, Why don't t you start a new thread with the subject line, it'll be easier for other users to understand/spot than a 37 pages thread.

I for one would most likely miss the new thread and the information in it!

Stunning work splinterz! My brother and I have one of these in the box and every time I see a nicely built on such as yours it makes me want to go clear off some bench space and get to work. However, I need to get about 6 other projects done first so I'm going to resist the urge! Best of luck with the test flights. If it flies as good as it looks you will have a real winner on your hands.

Looks like the spinner for a T-6 Texan or Beech Staggerwing Steve. Tru-Turn makes 'em in a couple different sizes.

PS - Great looking Stinson by the way. Love the color scheme.
