Alfredo,

If it's a rx. from a 2 motored bit car there's really no need to change anything, I've used both my own hand wound actuators and the commercial ones using these radios.

Quick Junior Bit style

Built from:

Gordon Johnsons Quick Junior plans
Chariot Bit receiver and transmitter (stock)
Pager actuator (pull/pull)
GB04 motor/gear box
AUW 16 grams w/lipo

Front yard flights were wonderful, saving it now for the indoor season.

Modifications to Tx: Replace 2 AA battery by 9V battery, add 5V voltage regulator ( 7805 ) for TX IC, re-wiring control button.
Modifications to Rx: Cut and sand some parts to lighten weight from 1 g to 0.6 g and add smd transistor for driving motor.
Antenna modifications: change antena to 0.5 m long.
Construction material:
Wing and tail from Depron foam slice to 0.5 mm thickness.
Body from EPP foam
Tail boom re-inforce with splitted carbon rod.
Range of transmission: 20 m.
Other details:

AIRPLANE
WS: 15 cm.
AUW: 3.2 g.
Motor: 4 mm.x 8 mm. pager motor from mobile phone
Gearing: direct drive
Prop: picco-z tail prop.
Battery: 30 mAH Fullriver
Actuator : 4 x 8 mm pager motor's coil and magnet

Notes: I can't remember which mobile phone's brand for this motor. The motor heat up, it has not enough power for the prop. to maintain driving force, the plane lost altitude. I'll try another motor in this size( 4 x 8 mm ) maybe some can, else change to 4 x 12 mm certainly enough power and the AUW slightly increase to 3.4 g. However others part can lighten down such airframe or batterry connector.

This plane I'ld like to call it " Chickabit ". My english language does'nt strong, how do you think about this name?

Nice plane Peterfly,
I've never heard of a bitcar with a 1 gram stock rx before. What kind of car is it? How did you lighten it by the way?

Thanks for any details,
Bill

Thanks for your admiration. It's just only innocent and lovely not too nice
So I'll tell you its original brand is "Sound & lights" from China. I'm not surely its stock weight is 1.2 g or 1 g. I lighten it by remove component of voltage stir-up circuit and cut its PCB part off, sanding back side of the remaining PCB, cut the excess part of tuning coil.

you must be sure that the wire connected to the antenna is the stock length and isn't touching anything
