Clear Top & Bottom Pictures (macro mode) of the PCB would be helpful Pietro..

I'm sorry for the low quality of images, for now I only have the phone, if these are not clear I will make more with a given machine. This a site with pictures http://www.rcmodelreviews.com/frskyreview.shtml . Thanks

There is no RSSI pin in this receiver. You can tap a pulsing signal from the green LED, it is not a proportional measure of signal strength, but a digital measure of data flow. It start to flash if no packet arrived for 9msec.

Did anybody connect to the compact version, looks totaly different, 2 or 3 PCBs above and chip probably inside.

masam54. Did you do the mod to your NER649S? I did it on mine, and noticed something strange. I'm getting an inverse voltage on pin 7. In other words, it goes from about 3V with the TX off, to about 1.3v with it on. Can you confirm this is the right signal? If so, I guess I'll have to build an inverse follower of some sort.

Here is the data sheet http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/data.../7/SA676.shtml

Can Anybody explain to me what I can do this the AUDIO signal of the SA676 ? See Pin 8 Audio.
Thanks Volker

Hi,

That is the pin that the demodulated signal (ppm-stream) is coming out from, that your receiver then splits to each servo-ch. output.

So if you don't need the ppm-stream I would leave it..

My old JR NER649S was "retired" a couple of years ago, , so I did not do the rssi mod on it. Getting a reverse voltage rssi is no big deal, as long as its linear. If your OSD can calibrate for reverse voltage there's no need to build an inverse follower.

Ok. Thanks. I guess I'll have to PM Bill at EagleTree, and see what he says.
