Everybody likes the plane - it's a beauty, that's for sure. 25' (roll) on the ground and then straight up. I also love the sound of that 2212-06 with the 6x4 prop.
I took the easy way out with the aileron installation.) |

Here's how the linkages are done in the kit. I used a rigid tube as a pushrod guide with .032" wire for the pushrod. Then I took some 1/8" shrink tube 1/2" longer than the guide tube, and shrunk it around the guide tube and wire.
Then I bored angled holes in the fuse sides, and glued in the assembly. I sealed both ends of the guide tube holes, and it has been water tight so far. Simple and direct linkages. All the items necessary for the linkages are included in the kit. Scott www.ModelAero.com |

IF?! What the heck does IF mean!?
If it is designed by Steve and you are cutting the kit, then there cannot be any IF! I KNOW it is gonna be a great kit and plane! Skill?! Nah, it is the camera doing all the work. (And my buddy TR helping out too!) |

metro and happy camper - I think an ultralight smaller version would work GREAT for indoor flying! The combination of a delta wing and prop-blown control surfaces should give excellent controllability for indoor manuevering. I'm eager to see how they turn out if you build them!
hoppy - Great looking model! I like your paint scheme especially. tpfing - Wow, you've flown your Polaris more than I've flown mine! And yeah, keeping such a detailed flight log is a bit anal, but I'm impressed! Steve |

Here is the pic of my build of the full size and micro Polaris. I hope to have the micro ready to fly in a few days and the full size in a week or so!
