Tim-- The plane is really, really nice but that pilot looks like a seatback and headrest!

Hi I am currently building the rafale and have done some tests with the lander 3900 fans they will provide greater that 1:1 thrust and on 2 2500 4S lipos will give 5+ minutes which is enough for me with this very quick sleek looking jet.

Well I'm at the point of joining the wings on this bird, so far the build has been pretty straightforward.

A question to those who have flown this beautiful bird or those that have built similar the wings are butt jointed to the fus no carbon spar etc, I'm a little nervous of this expecialy with the power this baby will kick out, am I just an old woman or do I have a point ?

I'll be going for grass after the maiden so will keep you infomred, they retract forward not back and they are reinforced so on short flat grass they should be ok.

I don't know about 100mph but this plane has flicked my switch, I finished the main build last night and this morning my wife came downstairs to find my sitting in freezing the garage having a cup of tea learing at it

I am praying for good weather on december 28th to maiden her, she is truly a beautiful plane and the pictures do not do her justice at all, the lines are slek and scale, the contours flow like a finely crafted sculpture, its no wonder my wife is worried

If your after a twin EDF monster then look no further .......

How we doing on this monster? Sure is pretty. How about shooting some pictures of the finished bird (topside and side views). I can see this one will be joining my fleet along with the F16 and SR71.
