To oil or not to oil the bearings?

I have assumed that the bearings in the Neu motors were lifetime lubricated, yet I am seeing posts about how they are shielded but not sealed (therefore, thin lubricant could make its way past the shield if directed by a fine tube). My impression was that lubing the bearing with an oil thin enough to get past the shields would wash away the original (thicker) grease and start a cycle of having to constantly replace the thin oil every few flights (and possibly dry the bearings out during a flight). I have 200+ flights on my 1515 and have never lubricated the bearings - what is the best approach? - leave them alone or try to add thin lube every few flights?

A man with too many toys
Since they are not sealed I lube my bearings every 25 flights. It would be nice to have sealed bearings as a factory option.

Hear is what Boca bearing company recommends http://www.bocabearings.com/newsletters/issue1.html
