Diggity Diggs.... Well, if you remember, at the Clarksville fly-in, you let me hammer on your Superfly, and I commented that I had to have one..

Due to interesting hobby fund reallocation's, I haven't yet been able to order one, but I was looking thru my kit warehouse, and found an old slope soar kit I bought a LONG time ago, the Avro Vulcan from Aerofoam.com.

After studying it for a while, it hit me that it looks pretty close to a super fly, only it has a 30" wingspan instead of 27".

After some creative engineering, I have a SuperFly clone. Haven't flown it yet as I just finished it, but hopefully I can get a flight on it this afternoon. If it does well, look out Fly For Tots!

Actually, I haven't been able to find anything on the 'net about it. Someone verbally told me about it at the flying field. This is the only thing I've found that is sortof similar:

So, is there going to be an Inside Heli thread as well, or are we going to all stick around in here? Preferably, I'd rather keep us all together, but that's because I do both!

rather fly, but this'll do

In theory, I could slightly streamline my life on the web by subscribing to an InsideHeli only thread.

In practice, I would continue to read them both for fear of missing any helpful tidbit or humorous nugget that might appear in one and not the other.

I finished Inside Heli episode #32!

Comments!

Ummmmm....dang guys, you covered everything! All I can say is that Art did an awesome job describing the how and why of V-Bar installations....which isn't surprising considering who he is!

This is one of my favorite threads detailing the flybar removal for a HoneyBee King (of all things!):
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=859192

This V-Bar "HOSS" heli looks like it steals the HB King's lunch money each day:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=890633

You can also get all kinds of posts if you search for "skookum" (or one of the many other mistaken spellings).

It's tempting, but I just don't have the funding. I think Chris and James need to get a review product!

Hey guys, what is up with diret audio on the site? ATTF ep 60, 61 and a few other episodes sounds like it has been speed up a bit. The recent Inside heli episodes are fine.

Jamie and Diggs sound like Alvin and Theodore from "Alvin and the Chipmunks"

Disappointing. I guess we need to chalk that one up to hearsay.

Thanks anyhow,
David
