Diggs, now that's what I'm talking about! I really want to build a 'proper' fast electric, just to show the wing crowd that they have the motor on the wrong end and are missing the aerodynamics needed to really go fast (and turn hard).

lol, I'm trollbait

Edit: I was putting some carbon ribbon in the EZ* this afternoon, and started wondering if I could homebrew CA accelerator. I ended up on Wikipedia, and couldn't help noticing the line near the bottom that reads "Toluidines are used in the production of dyes. They are a component of accelerators for cyanoacrylate glues. They are toxic and are suspected human carcinogens."

me, I've been getting this stuff on my fingers and probably breathing in a fair amount of vapor. Just a heads-up for you guys, worth a mention on the show? Or maybe a general discussion on safety with chemicals?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toluidine

edit2: You can use water with a little baking soda as accelerator. The CA solution is slightly acidic, and when you raise the pH, it cures. Sounds way less tumour inducing

Ok...Here is my first attempt at shooting some flames. Still using thew cheap paints from wal-mart, tweaked on my paint mix some, and here we are..

Now I am stoked!! I gotta get to work and practice some more...I think I can see some neat planes in my future!

I saw that review and thought, WOAH, that is spendy! My bud More Trim built 2 hotwire tables and they are pretty sweet! We haven't used them much yet, but we are practicing our cutting. I see them getting used a lot in the future. I really need to get the Phlatprinter going. The more I build, the more uses I see for it. I airbrushed my YAK 55 this weekend. First time to use one and I have to say it is a huge improvement over rattle cans.

I am ready to maiden these two... Darn weather!

Mine came out to 8.1 oz with a 3S 610mah Rhino pack. Need to see what the difference is in 2s and 3s packs. Have some 460 2s packs that I bet will drop her down a bit.

I here ya. It is a lot of fun to build and then paint. Just getting the right color is the key.
