Maybe you put the motor mount on upside down?

Finished her up this arvo.
Using the IPA setup with HS-65MG's all round.
Man this thing has killer throws like the Addiction!
Crazy Down Elevator travel! I can see some sick knife edge spins coming up! Heehee!

Very, very happy with the kit quality, 2nd to none.
P/A have done it again!
........ and I haven't even flown it yet! LOL!

Hoping to report back here soon with a flight report.

Cheers

duck's nuts

For those of you who drive on the right hand side of the road..

duck's nuts, duck's guts or bee's knees = something that is perfectly suited

Hi Mick

Did the HS65MGs just drop in without any mods to either the trays or the servos?

I used them on my Addiction and there are great and would like to do the same with the AMR but had to mod the servos so they dropped in without filing the trays.

Thanks for your help.

I can only speculate; but since the AMR, addiction, 260 and KMD are all designed for the same servos, the trays will probably need to be opened up about 1mm same as the others to fit 65's. My dremel with the small diamond grinder (cylindrical) made quick work of that on my MD. MUCH faster than a hand file.

Hi Richard,
The servo trays did require just a touch of 'opening up' on the ends which I did carefully with a sharp hobby knife. Too easy!

Aflipz,
Yeah, man this plane looks soooo damn good I want to put it on the Mantlepiece at home and just stare at it!!!! heehee

Dan,
Cheers, I am sure I will love this plane.

Cheers Shaun.
Here's a side on pic showing the sticker layout a bit better, I have to say that the covering job on this Ultimate is outstanding!

*rudder hingeline will be covered b4 the maiden *

Bring on the weekend, and may the wind lose its way to my flying field!

Cheers,

Mick

All done!

Finely got her done! Now for the match up with my Reactor Bipe. If the Ultimate Bipe is half the flier of the GP Reactor I'll be a happy camper! Of coarse the PA is much higher quality than the GP Reactor but it's in the air that counts.
