got the motor out, missing c-clip in front, I doubt KE spins will rival my 51 slick, but we will see

The c-clip is not meant to be on with this configuration.
51 Slickerooo has a tight KE spin, but I promise you, nothing compared to that of the AMR

The AMR does the most violent KE spin at our field hands down.

I guess it doesn't matter too much with the motor behind the firewall, all the thrust from the motor/prop is going to be pulling the can forwards so there is no way it is coming off anyways? Unless you nose in and maybe that will help save the motor/motorbox.

As long as your motor is spinning in the right direction and your prop is on forward, there is no way the motor will move backwards. The spinning prop will keep everything pulling forward... More likely your prop adapter might pull off the front end in a high g spin- but no worries as to it coming off the back, it wont happen.

agreed, it just threw me, as I'm not used to motors mounted behind the firewall

red, it is a sweat plane, just about got it all about gone over and set up on my radio. Paid $200, had only 4 flights so I was told and I believe it from the condition, has trust 40, vox 13x6.5 prop, , phoenix 35 with castle 10a bec, 2 hitec hs65mg on tail and 2 hb on ailerons.

awsome.that's a steal man.best $200 you will ever spend
just check the AMP draw.on the VOX 13x6.5 I was just under 40A at WOT
have a plush 40 in mine and it takes some punishment on that prop,so maybe just check the esc.

whata deal

Do put that on a watt-meter though to be sure you are not going to burn up that Phoenix ESC; as it is 35amp vs the suggested 45amp (especially if you step up to a 14x7 prop).

Watt test came in at 34A at 375 watts on vox 13x6.5 does that sound about right?, I think I'm going to replace the esc with a 40a hobbywing that I have
