That may be true, but I would love to see some video of the AMR on 4S !!!!!

My mate flies his on a 4s 1800 pack. It runs a smaller prop so it doesn't have the 3d authority that mine does, but it is faster.

I was using a 13 x 4 but tried a 14 x 7 to-day and the plane was crazy in KE spins etc especially with full power!!!! On the 4th flight the prop adapter, prop and spinner disappeared over some fir trees, rest of the plane is fine.Have to wait for parts to come from Australia as it's quicker than the US if you live in Canada.

No, it seems to work fine now I've glassed the mount around where the motor bolts on and also to the #1 former/bulkhead. Flying with a Nanotech 1.3 4cell so it's quite light. Goes crazy when you give it full down elev and full throttle.

Yeah but what motor are you using? I am sure you are going to burn it up....

What!?! I'd like to see your numbers on this.
Do you have a WATT meter to show us volts/amps/watts?

Grumpy old git.. Who me?

A Thrust 40 swinging a 14 x 7 prop should be pulling about to 80 Amps and 1.1Kw. I find it hard to see how that can be so without smoking the motor?

You would also be discharging your 1300mAh batteries at 62C, that would give one minute flying time at WOT

Only thing i can see that might explain how you haven't smoked the motor already (assuming you are not winding us up) is that due to the super high discharge rate on those small cells voltage must be sagging massively. Suggest you put a Wattmeter on it before you run again.

Yes! I love to see people stress testing this system. I always thought the T40 had some in reserve.

Need the numbers!

I don't have a meter but the guys at the local flying field do. I'll try and do this next time I'm there. Won't be till early Dec as I'm heading to Ca. Also there's a weather component up here in the coming months.Looks like a tough winter possibly. The motor won't overheat most of the year in Vancouver!!! Will post the figures when done.

Figured out something goofy with the AMR when getting it to KE Spin. Instead of up rudder (Like I would on other planes), I gave it down rudder and it spun super tight and fast. It stayed locked in too. It was awesome. Anybody else done this?

That's pretty sad.
