I did a lot of CL racing as a kid. It was great stuff. And yes, the race was won or lost in the pits.

Sweet jesus, it's even worse than I thought!

Just kidding, if turning in tight circles with other men (or, presumably, women... though I really find that hard to believe in anything more than an anomalous sense) is what "gets you going", then more power to you... I guess?

That was Good And Yeah... Thank goodness we do way cooler stuff than just speeding around in circles.

Although my wife compared me to a co-workers husband tonight who paints little metal army dudes and than plays pretend war with them. W-T-F? Someone needs to tell her how coool we actually are.

What's peculiar I find about some control line models is that they actually use servos to move the surfaces, AND the signals come from receivers inside the models. The signals get sent down the "control line" by a special transmitter.

Some guys were flying control line racers in back of the high school. Couldn't believe that they could fly with one wing and half a propeller.

And that's what half of the AMA news letter print is about..........?

I could see maybe doing that once, but I think at the time some other guy tried standing that close to me there might be issues.
