Question

Which fuel for Cox .049 Sure Start?

Title says it all. I'm currently using 15% for my larger models. That would be ideal if it will work.

Thanks,

The Sure Starts will run on 15% with as always a little extra Castor. I really like the SIG 25% with 2 oz of extra castor added to a quart for mine.

The more nitro the better for these small engines. 25% is a good start...

I run the same mix as Skaliwag in all my Cox engines from .010 to .09.

I mix a couple of car fuels and Klotz BeNol to end up with 22.5% nitro, 21.25%oil -- the oil is 20/80 synthetic/castor. Total castor content ends up at 16.9%.
