Thank you!! It`s fun for me, too. Weve printed out the full size 1/7 pdf plan on a plotter, needed to rotate the pdf 180 and printed out the rest, again. THAT`S A BIG BIRD.

Ooooh, interesting. I'm a 190 man myself, but I'll be keeping an eye on how this one turns out.

Thanks, the 109 is probably my favorite plane. I had the fortune of seeing my first real one fly 2 weeks ago at Thunder Over Michigan. It was every-bit as great as I thought it would be. For me this build is on the list, I've a 190 from Fiddler's Green plans to finish first. Looking forward to it though

I printed out the 1/7th scale plans but my printer shrinked it down ~ 6% so it will be about a 53" ws. Think I will start it as soon as the F-104 is done. Should be a quick build as most of Hans' designs are.

Make sure you post lots of pics J so I can steal ideas for my HJ Spit. Got a 109 scheme in mind btw?

Will do GG.
Haven't any scheme in mind yet. There are so many good ones.
The 109 IMHO is the sexiest plane to come out of WW II. This was not on my list but when Hans posted it, it went immediately to the top. I just can't help myself. He is a very bad influence.
I have a F4F Wildcat, 1/8th scale, cut out and ready and he comes up with this. Hoping I can finish both of them before Vegas.

You have too much USN sheetmetal anyway.

Oh my! You are the MAN Hans! This will be a beta build as soon as they arrive.! I'm thinking power with an AXI 2820/12 on 4s, 500 watts if needed.

Make one out of foam? I seem to recall J doing a spinner once before by clamping a block of foam in a drill press to sand it evenly?

That's the easy part - I haven't been able to figure out how to attach the home-made foam spinner. Usually I have one of those prop-savers with the 2 screws and elastic band.

I already have that covered. I'm hiring Jerry Hall to make me one. he does fabulous work and they are always right. It will be on the heavy side but the 109 needs nose weight, esp the way I build.
