just some pictures: S-170-206 class
hi guys,
i have been busy for a while with my 206 submarine and thought, i post some pictures here.. i know we have a submarine forum, but this boat will be built to scale (1:32) as much as i can. and you guys are posting a lot of helpful tips.( ie the nonskid is done with baking soda.) the boat: she came as a plain kit, with no scribing or details. the scriping is added with the help of pictures i had left over. also the snorkel / periscope and antennas are built to scale. the pollars on stern and and bow are retractable. the nav-lights fold out. radar is rotating and raises and lowers via remote. i still have a lot more to do on it, especially all the decals.. (any source?) im also working on a coning-tower door and the interior of the coning-tower enjoy the pics stefan btw,i served active on the boat (S-170-206) in the 90's. |
