I too enjoy the sound of the motor. I was suprised the video captured that much of the sweet twin EDF sound. There are a few people who are going to put in the Astroflight 010 EDF in the GWS A-10. This is going to be a great Spring to see different A-10 hop ups. I will be testing the A-10 this weekend with the 2030x3 and 2030x5 rotor to see the difference. Regards David |

Eddie P:
Using 7 cells on the twin EDF-50 is about the maximum voltage they can handle. Using 8 cells will reduce greatly reduce the motor life. DaveG: An above average skill pilot can fly the A-10 in 8-10 MPH wind if the wind is not gusty. Be sure to leave extra margin of safety on EDF aircraft as they have less thrust than propeller powered planes. GWS A-10 is a very nice flying airplane. Considering the easy of handling, speed of construction and its low cost makes it one of the best choices as an EDF trainer. Regards David |
