Exactly, and that's good, because users of the FMA's CPD4 CoPilot don't have to use a digital servo buffer which would be required in conjunction with the Futaba PCM receiver.

I am not exactly sure what you mean,
the 7W booster is for 420 to 450 MHz band, so it can ONLY be used with my 500mW UHF transmitter system ! to boost the 500mW to 7W and that gives alot longer range.

if your DX5E have a student out PPM signal ??
and if you can disable the internal 2.4GHz transmitter ?
and if that PPM out is compatible with the PPM requrements I have explained on my page :
http://www.webx.dk/rc/uhf-link3/uhf-link3.htm
you need to measure with a scope and check, I have no access to a DX5E, sorry.

you can even use a sound card and PC sound card scope software to check the ppm with, google a bit and you will find several examples how to.

ya ! I guess it is the worlds most powerfull produced RC system !

download this:
http://www.afar.net/rf-link-budget-calculator/
input this:
frequency 430MHz
tx power : 27dBm (0.5W)
no cable loss, no antenna gain, receiver sens -110dBm
fade margin 10dB (due to diversity we can actually go lower here)
other systems with no diversity needs to put in 26db here !!
now freak out over that range difference :-)
try to change the tx power to 39dBm (7.9Watt) booster added.
you see, hard to beat.. also try to change the frequency to 868 and 2400
without changing anyother parameters, you get the point ?

Thomass one day I will install the system you sold me
for now it is just "park flying" with foamies and smaller nitro planes

One big plane, 131 inch (333 cm) wing span, is on order specifically for YOUR system, from Soaring USA.

Just testing a few things out first and trying to get some experience under my belt.

ANYTHING to do with your system in any of my planes will be posted here!

and you are sure it will not work with my jr 9303 9 channel rx?
but my dx6i is a go!

If so I will have to "y" split my flap channel and that would not be my preference.

I can't beleive it!

11 foot wingspan, this is a real plane. You want to do long range flight with this... it's not reasonable. I imagine you know already it's illegal in our country. I hope will not have any problems.

I am not going long distance just very clear reception
for a very long time and not on a MAAC field!

This plane is not a fast one but can stay up there for a long long time!

lots of room for stuff so I don't need my "BUG"
